• Test Loft Antenna or Pigeon Ring
With the menu item [
TEST
]
it is possible to test pigeon rings and the loft antennas
connected to the BENZING M1. After selecting the menu item, the information to hold a
ring over a connected antenna will be displayed. Do so, and as soon as the ring is read by
the antenna you will see the following display.
Type of antenna (here PLB 765)
Identification number of the antenna
Electronic ring number
Actual position of the ring on the antenna
Antenna field where the ring was read. This
field is tested and functioning.
If all fields have been tested successfully, the
antenna is ready for use.
If no field is indicated then either the loft antenna is out of order, the ring is defective or it
has not been used a BENZING ring.
• Update Software of Loft Antennas
With the BENZING M1 it is possible to update the software of the Loft Antennas to the
actual version. Therefore select the menu item [
UPDATE
] . The type, serial number and
software version of the selected loft antenna will be indicated.

] (red) or (green) - Cancel or confirm the update
Message: "Update started - please wait – don’t unplug PLB "
Wait until the counter on the bottom of the display has counted up to 100%. Pay attention
that during this time the connection to the lazer loft antenna (PLB) is not interrupted!
Message: "Update successfull"
