All components mentioned in this chapter are available as options. If you need

one of these components please contact our sales department.

8.1

Delay

balances the run time delays in CAT-x cables. These run time delays are

caused by the twisting of the core pairs.

Because of these different lengths the colour signals

and

reach the

monitor in different times. The effect of these run time delays is that you see no

harmonic picture but colour shifts which can be compared with convergence

errors at the monitor.

For balancing the run time delays
