Installation
WARNING!
Please read this Manual carefully and completely before doing any work on the sensor or on the control
device. This Manual is intended for the qualified, technical personnel charged with the installation works.
The global safety of the machine and safety device depends on the quality, reliability and correct installation
of the interface
GAMMA SYSEM pressure-sensitive bumpers and the relevant control devices do not need any adjustment
at the time of installation. The global safety of the machine and its safety device depends on the quality,
reliability and correct installation of the interfacing connections between them

9.1
Sensor location
The actual sensitive zone of the sensor must suit the application
.
It must be installed in such a way to ensure
the most efficient orientation for the expected actuation direction.

9.2
Fastening
The safety bumper is fixed to the “machine” via a frame which may come into three different configurations:
A- The plate protrudes from the pressure-sensitive bumper. The plate is provided with adequate holes for
mounting/fastening to the machine by means of screws and bolts. The plate width is to be indicated by the
customer/user (drawing A)
B-The plate is flash-mounted. The plate is supplied with threaded holes (specify thread when ordering)
for mounting/fastening by means of screws from the inside of the machine (drawing B).
C-The plate is flash-mounted. The plate is supplied with threaded stud screws for mounting/fastening by
means of nuts inside the machine (drawing C)

Characteristics
”.
WARNING:
Since M8 metric screws/bolts are used, do not exceed 11 N.m tightening torque.
