By default a panel does not have any information programmed into Dictionary Item 2. For panel
setup the panel’s programmer has to manually select one of the factory default “Dictionary Item 2”
values to have the Workstation auto-create the appropriate icon for the point.
NOTE:
If the panel programmer uses customer strings for the Dictionary Item 2 entry, the
FocalPoint™
system will not be able to determine what point icon to display.
