REMOTE CONTROLLER

REMOTE CONTROLLER: SWITCHING FROM INFRA-RED TO WIRED
PREPARING THE REMOTE CONTROLLER
•
Detach the plastic cover from the terminal board for the remote controller.
•
Open the battery compartment, take the batteries out and set micro-
switches 5 and 6 on OFF.
•
Close the battery compartment without putting the batteries back in (the
remote controller will be wire-powered).
CONNECTION
Use a 0.5mm² shielded three-pole electric cable, with max. length of 15m.
The cable must not be any lighter than H05VVC4V5-K (according to IEC 20-20
CENELEC HD21).
CONNECT THE REMOTE CONTROLLER TO THE 5-POLE
TERMINAL BOARD INSIDE THE ELECTRIC PANEL, AS
FOLLOWS:
• Take off the yellow jumper cable.
• Connect the clamp with the pink cable end to the bottom unit of the terminal
board on the remote controller (+ pole).
• Connect the clamp with the violet cable end to the central unit of the terminal
board on the remote controller (IR).
• Connect the clamp with the white cable ends to the top unit of the terminal
board on the remote controller (- pole).
• Connect the cable shield to the clamp with the yellow/green cable end or,
alternatively, if possible, to an earthing point on the remote controller side.

Before opening the unit, make sure that the unit is switched off and
that the main current switch is on OFF.
If several units are installed (up to 4) in the same room, it will be
necessary to aim each remote controller towards its own inside unit.
