ENaBLING THE SPEED-LOaDER
LEVEL

Enabling the Speed-Loader
requires either a manufacturer-
installed thermocouple or the EGT
Thermocouple that was included
in your kit be installed. If the
Speed-Loader is enabled and the
thermocouple has not been installed,
the tuner will detect the missing
thermocouple, resulting in a tuner
fault.
NOTE: Refer to your Six-Gun Tuner
Manual for thermocouple installation
instructions if vehicle is not equipped
with a manufacturer-installed
thermocouple. After the thermocouple
installation is complete then return to
Section 6 to ena ble ‘Speed-Loader’
power level.
NOTE: The Banks iQ is required to be
connected and the ignition key on to
configure Speed-Loader power level.
To Enable or Disable Speed-
Loader
1.
Press the wrench icon to move to
the ‘Adjustments’ menu.
2.
In the ‘Adjustments’ menu, press
on the ‘Speed-Loader’ button. A
Warning display screen will appear.
Read the warning and press ‘I
Decline’ to cancel and return to the
‘Adjustments’ menu or press ‘I Accept’
to continue to enable the Speed-
Loader level.
WaRNING! Speed-Loader is more
aggressive than power level 6! By
enabling this level you accept all
risks and agree to the warnings
and limitations of liability stated
in the Six-Gun owners manual.
The tuner will record access to
the Speed-Loader level.

In the next screen press the
‘Speed-Loader is Enabled’ button
to enable the Speed-Loader or the
‘Speed-Loader is Disabled’ to disable.
See Figure 13 .

On the lower left hand corner
of the screen is the ‘Banks iQ’ icon,
which will direct you back to the
Power Environment Screen.
5.
To increase to the Speed-Loader
level, press the ‘Up’ arrow. See
Figure 14
. Power level is displayed
in-between the arrows. The Speed-
Loader level is activated.
