-To clean out any sediment deposits, first slide the external Skimmer
cover (a) vertically to remove it and then remove the internal cover (b)
by sliding it horizontally.
-Remove filters (c) and (d). Clean the filters by applying a jet of high-
pressure water between the folds.
Upon the first signs of wear, the filters must be changed. New filters
can by purchased from an authorised Gala dealer.
-Replace the filters and the internal cover.
-Replace the external cover by sliding it vertically downwards (a).

To maintain the hygiene and appearance of the water in optimal condition, we recommend you disinfect
and treat the water using products that have been especially designed for Spas. These products may be
purchased in specialist shops.
Adjust the pH level, if necessary, before applying the disinfectant treatment.
The following levels must be checked on a regular basis:
1. Water: The level must half cover the Skimmer inlet. If the water is at the wrong level, the filter
process will not function correctly.
2. pH: This must be between 7.0 and 7.4 pH
If the pH is less than 7.0, add pH raiser
If the pH is more than 7.4, add pH reducer
3. Active oxygen: this must be maintained between 5 and 8 mg/l
If the level of active Oxygen is below 5, increase the filter cycle duration and/or add active Oxygen.
If the level of active Oxygen is above 8, wait for a reasonable amount of time and check again to
see if the level is within the limits.
After installation and long periods of inactivity, the Spa must be subjected to a "shock treatment" to fully
disinfect the Spa. It is advisable to carry out the treatment using “quick-dissolve chlorine” (see product
instructions). It may also be carried out with active Oxygen, although this is less effective than chlorine.
The use of chlorine as a shock treatment is compatible with the use of active Oxygen as your usual
disinfectant.
The water should be replaced approximately 2 to 4 times a year, depending on how often the Spa is used
and its conditions of use.
Warning: The Spa must not be in use when changing the filter.
Check the Skimmer basket at least once a week to remove any sediment. The filter must also be checked
periodically and cleaned, if necessary, following these steps:
