When a temperature below 6º C is detected, the pump will automatically start and run for 1 minute. If
there is a risk of freezing, the following instructions must be taken into account:
-The inside of the Spa, as well as the pipes, pump and filters must be completely drained of water.
Otherwise, because ice expands, the pipes could burst.
-Do not throw hot water onto the pipes or into the Spa to thaw them, as a sudden change in temperature
may crack the materials.
-Leave them to defrost alone at the ambient temperature.
-Do not start up the pump or air jets if any remaining frozen water is observed.
-Do not rotate the valves or threaded covers, if they appear to be frozen. The excessive force of the ice
and its expansion could damage the seals.
-Consult your installer for the assembly of continuous heating equipment.
-Do not use antifreeze liquids without the appropriate health guarantees.
N.B.:
When an ice prevention cycle starts it cannot be interrupted. The air jet and light functions are not affected
by the winter mode.
Interaction of winter mode with other functions:
•If an ice prevention cycle must be implemented during another function, it will start 15 minutes after the
last function ends.
•The ice prevention cycle takes priority over the filter cycle. If conditions arise that require the
implementation of the ice prevention cycle during the filter cycle, the filter cycle will be interrupted and
then restarted one minute after the ice prevention process ends.
•The ice prevention cycle will interrupt an accelerated filter process in progress.
•The ice prevention cycle takes priority over Stand-by. If ambient conditions require the implementation of
the ice prevention cycle during the Stand-by function, the Stand-by function will be suspended.
2.4.3. PROTECTION AGAINST OVERHEATING
The overheating protection system will be activated when the Spa detects the water temperature has
reached 44º C. At this point, the Spa's heating system will stop and the temperature indicator will flash.
The following measures must be taken in this case:
Do NOT enter the water!
Remove the cover from the Spa (if it is on).
Wait for the water temperature to drop.
The system will automatically restart when the water reaches 43º C.
