6.3.1 Application Considerations
•
The mounting surface for the mixer / valve assembly should ensure that the fuel inlet is horizontally
aligned in order to eliminate any effects of gravity on the flow of fuel.
•
Ensure there is adequate clearance above and around the mixer / valve assembly using the provided
dimensions to allow for the installation of the required air intake components and filters.
•
Select the mounting bolts using the dimensions provided to ensure the length and diameter are
appropriate or use the GAC provided installation kit.
•
Turbo-charged applications require special flanges which allow the mixer / valve to be installed directly
after the air filter and before the turbocharger inlet. This implies it is installed separately from the ATB.
