3. As soon as the desired pressure is reached, the pump will stop
while the cuff gradually deflates;
• while deflating, the blood pressure and heart rate are measured
• when the measurement is finished, the display will show the
blood pressure (both the systolic and diastolic blood pressure)
and the heart rate while the cuff will fully deflate

the measured blood pressure and heart rate are automatically
stored in the memory
4. The FB-180 will switch itself off automatically after 3 minutes of
you can turn off the FB-180 quicker by pressing the
START
button.
Indication according to WHO
The World Health Organisation
(WHO) has divided blood pres-
sure in different classifications in
a clear overview.
Keep in mind that the individual
blood pressure differs from per-
son to person. Therefore, only
use this table as a guideline.
The FB-180 uses coloured bars
to indicate to which classification
the measured blood pressure
belongs:
Severe hypertension
Moderate hypertension
Mild hypertension
High - Normal
