Connection of the Displays
Always fasten the locknuts on the connectors in order to ensure compliance with the IP63
protection class.

Interconnect the displays with the optional data cables [item 51843213, 5184323 or 51843233].
The RJ45 ports of the displays can be used as inputs and outputs as desired.
A maximum of

displays can be connected in series.

Power cabling is to be done horizontally from right to left. The displays use auto-range power
supplies that accept input voltages between 100 and 240 volts and support power linking.
A maximum of

displays can be connected in series when operated with 230 V and

operated with 115 V.
In each case, connect the power output [
POWER OUT
] of a display to the power input
[POWER
IN
] of the subsequent display using the optional power cables [items 51843212, 51843222,
51843232].
Connect each first display in the chain to the mains by connecting the optional power cable [item
51843270] to the display's power input [
POWER IN
] and then to a mains outlet.

Connect the first display in the chain to the sending card using the optional patch cable [item
51843270]. For this purpose, connect one of the display's RJ45 ports to one of the sending
card’s RJ45 ports. When configuring the software later on, the jack used must be specified: left
jack = [U], right jack = [D].
• Do not connect the devices to a network, e. g. via router or switch.
• Only use cables type CAT-5e or better.
