7.4 Memory Clear
This section describes information on clearing memory.
1. [MENU] -> Service -> Default Setting
This setting restores the user setting menu to the default, except “Edit Station List” in
“[MENU] -> Service” menu. However, received messages are not deleted.
Select “[MENU] -> Service -> Default Setting”. Select “Yes” and then press the [ENT] key.
2. [MENU] -> Initialize 1 -> All Clear
All the settings are reset to the default and received messages are deleted.
Select [MENU] -> Initialize 1 -> All Clear. Select “Yes” and then press the [ENT] key.
When “All Clear” is executed, select “On” in the setting of “[MENU] -> Initialize2 ->
Russia Mode” for the Russian type equipment.
3. [MENU] -> Initialize 1 -> Delete All Msgs
All received messages are cleared.
Select Initialize 1 -> Delete All Msgs. Select “Yes” and then press the [ENT] key.
