Range Menu
The Range menu is where you can pre-set
basic ranges, zoom range, bottom lock range,
and turn independent range adjustment on or
off. The default values are suitable for most
fishing applications, however you may wish to
change pre-set ranges to suit your needs.
Note that when the depth unit is changed all
range settings are restored to default. There-
fore, it is a good idea to change the depth unit
first and then change ranges.
Range 1 to Range 8
1. Use
S
or
T
to select a range and press
the
ENTER
key. For example, select
Range 1, and the setting window looks
something like the one below.
2. Use
S
or
T
to set range. Ranges must
be set from shallow to deep, and a range
can not be lower than a preceding one.
The minimum and maximum ranges
available are shown on the range setting
window.
3. Press the
ENTER
key to set confirm set-
ting.
Zoom Range
Zoom range sets the range for the marker
zoom and bottom zoom displays. Press
S
or
T
to set zoom range as desired. For the hor-
izontal split screen, the range is one-half the
value set.
B/L Range
Set display range for bottom lock and bottom
discrimination displays. Use
S
or
T
to set B/
L range as desired. For the horizontal split
screen, the range is one-half the value set.
Split Range
Split range enables/disables independent ad-
justment of range in the dual frequency dis-
play. Turn on for independent adjustment.
Effective in dual frequency mode only.
1. Rotate the
RANGE
control to show the
range selection window.
2. Push the
RANGE
control. Each press se-
lects high or low frequency alternately.
3. Rotate the
RANGE
control to choose de-
sired range.
