DIN with External Zero
Two terminals are provided for use with an external switch for zeroing the instrument display. The
switch should be closed for at least 0.1 second to ensure that the external zero signal is detected.
If the instrument is fitted with the automatic zero valve, when the Zero is triggered, the display and
output are frozen for 1.5 seconds while the pneumatic ports are isolated from the process ports.
The diagram below shows a typical wiring configuration:
