Basic operation
Starting up
Press the power switch to start up the instrument.
Melody play
Select Tone (timbre)
To select a tone, press the [TONE] button to enter the Tone menu. The display will now
show TONE and the tone number of the tone.
Use the numeric buttons or the [+]/[-] buttons to select the desired tone.
DOUBLE
The DOUBLE function allows you to play two tones simultaneously.
First, select the desired main tone as described in Select Tone.
Now press the [DOUBLE] button to activate the Double function.
Use the number buttonss or the [+]/[-] buttons to select the desired second tone.
Press the [DOUBLE] button again to exit this function.
Split
The Split function allows you to select different tones for the right and left sections of the
keyboard. In this case, the split tone is assigned to the left section.
First, select the desired main tone as described in Select Tone.
Now press the [SPLIT] button to activate the split function.
Use the number buttons or the [+]/[-] buttons to select the desired tone for the left keyboard
area.
Press the [SPLIT] button again to exit the split function.
Split point
The point on the keyboard that separates the left and right halves of the keyboard is called
the "split point". The split point is located at the 24th note from the left.
