Chapter 5 Maintenance
Cautions
●
After Using the Equipment
・ Unplug the cables carefully. Do not apply excessive force on the cable
by pulling on the cord.
・ Equipment, accessories, cords should be cleaned and stored together.
・
When accessories such as ECG electrodes, cables, membranes or
electrode installing kits need to be supplied, please contact your Fukuda
Denshi representative.
●
Cleaning
・ To ensure safety, turn off the power and unplug the power cable before
cleaning.
・ If the equipment is not cleaned for a while, it will be difficult to remove
stains. It is recommended to clean the equipment frequently.
・ To prevent injury, we recommend wearing gloves when cleaning.
・
Do not allow chemicals to enter the equipment or the connectors.
・ Do not immerse in water or detergent.
・ Only neutral detergent should be used to clean the cabinet. Do not use
chemical cloth, scrub brush, abrasive, polishing powder, hot water,
volatile solvent and chemicals such as cleanser, thinner, benzene,
synthetic detergent for house and furniture, or a sharp-edged tool. The
surface resin coating may be damaged, resulting in discoloration,
scratches, and may cause other problems.

Storage
・ Store the equipment away from splashing water.
・ Store the equipment where it will not be adversely affected by pressure,
humidity, temperature, sunlight, dust, or air containing salt or sulfur.
・
Store the equipment at a stable place where there is no inclination,
vibration or shock. (including during transportation)

Maintenance Check
・
Periodic maintenance must be performed to ensure proper and safe
operation of the equipment.
・ If the equipment was left unused for a while, it must be verified that
proper and safe operation can be attained before using.
