Replacing the hot-plug power supply unit

CAUTION!

Before replacing a

non-

defective power supply unit in a non-redundant

configuration (

only one

power supply unit present), the server

must

switched off.

Remove the cable of the defective power supply unit.

Push the green catch to the left (1).

Pull the power supply unit out of its mounting location (2) by the handle.

Install the new power supply unit in the empty mounting location (see section

"Installing the hot-plug power supply unit" on page 81

Connect the newly installed power supply unit (see section

"Connecting the

server to the mains" on page 52
