Preparation for use and operation

The Control Panel

4.2.1

Operating Elements

ON/OFF button

When the system is switched OFF, it can be switched ON by pressing
the ON/OFF button. When the system is operating, pressing the
ON/OFF button will switch OFF the system.

I

The ON/OFF button does not disconnect the server from the
mains voltage. To completely disconnect it from the mains
voltage, remove the power plug from the socket.

If the system was previously disconnected from the mains, then it can
be switched ON at earliest 60 seconds after the connection has been
reestablished.

Reset button

Pressing the reset button (only with a pointed object) restarts the
system.

Menu toggle switch

The display in the LCD panel is controlled with the menu toggle
switch. It is possible to switch between the display modes and to scroll
within the display modes.
To scroll within the display mode, press the menu toggle switch
upward or downward.
The display mode is changed when the menu toggle switch is pressed
to the left or on the right. Further information is provided in section
“System Display” on page 51:
