Power/idle indicator (bicolor LED)
Dark:
The basic unit is switched off, no 5 V standby voltage,
or the server blade is not installed correctly.
Lights up
green:
Server blade is switched on.
Lights up
orange:
Server blade is switched off; the basic unit is switched
on (5 V standby voltage is present).
Flashes
green:
Server blade is switched on and was selected for identi-
fication, or this server blade is in a critical state.
Flashes
orange:
Server blade is switched off and was selected for identi-
fication, or this server blade is in a critical state.

green-orange
Server blade is in standby mode (ACPI function) or is in
a critical state.
Flashes
green-dark-
orange
Server blade is in standby mode (ACPI function) and
was selected for identification, or this server blade is in
a critical state.

On/Off button Fully compatible with the Advanced Configuration
Power Interface (ACPI)
If the basic unit is switched on (5 V standby voltage is present), the
server blade is switched off and you press the On button, the
power_up
command is sent to the management blade and the server blade is
switched on.
If the server blade is switched on and the On/Off button is pressed for
less than 4 seconds, the
power_off
command is sent to the
management blade and the server blade is switched off by the
management blade (
graceful shutdown
).
If the server blade is switched on and the On/Off button is pressed for
longer than 4 seconds, it is switched off immediately.
