Working with the notebook

Wireless LAN/Bluetooth radio components

The installation of a radio components not approved by Fujitsu Technology Solutions
GmbH will invalidate the certi

cations (CE) issued for this device.

Switching the wireless components on and off

►

Slide the ON/OFF switch into the "ON"
position to activate the wireless components.

WirelessLAN

Bluetooth

►

Slide the ON/OFF switch to the
"OFF" position to deactivate the
wireless components.

The Bluetooth and UMTS modules and the wireless LAN transmission unit (antenna)
will also be switched off when you switch off the wireless components.

You can also deactivate the wireless components individually in the

BIOS Setup

. In

order to be able to do this, you will either need to know the supervisor password
if one has been assigned, or no password must have been assigned.

Please read the additional safety notes for devices with wireless
components in the "Safety" manual.

Details on using Wireless LAN can be found in the online help system
included in the Wireless LAN software.

You can
