USB port with charging function (USB Type-C)

At this USB (USB Type-C) port, you can charge a connected USB device or operate
devices without an additional power supply (e.g. a monitor or printer).
The USB Type-C connector is reversible and both ends of the cable are identical.
This is also possible with the notebook switched off, if the
USB Type-C Power Delivery
on System Off
function is activated in the
Advanced - Miscellaneous Configurations
menu
of the
BIOS Setup Utility

USB devices are hot-pluggable. This means you can connect and disconnect the
cables of USB devices while the operating system is running.
Additional information can be found in the documentation for the USB devices.
USB 3.1 Gen 1 has a data transfer rate of up to 5 Gbps.
USB 3.1 Gen 2 has a data transfer rate of up to 10 Gbps.
