How to Open the ADF

Remove all documents from the ADF paper chute
(feeder).

Open the ADF cover.

Use the ADF tab to open the ADF.

How to Close the ADF

Use the ADF tab to close the ADF.

Close the ADF cover.

Push the center of the ADF cover until it locks in place.

1.4 Opening/Closing the ADF

When the ADF is open, it might close
accidentally. Be careful not to get your fingers
caught.
