System Memory Installation Order

Install the same type of system memory for all the slots.
The configuration is the same for Controller 0 (CM#0) and Controller 1 (CM#1).

ETERNUS DX500 S5/DX600 S5
Install the same type of system memory for all the slots.
The configuration is the same for Controller 0 (CM#0) and Controller 1 (CM#1).

ETERNUS DX900 S5
When multiple controller enclosures are installed, install the same type of system memory using the same
layout for each controller slot.
Extreme Cache
This section describes the installation conditions and installation rules for PCIe Flash Modules (PFMs).
A PFM is a module that is installed to operate the Extreme Cache function.
