Installing a hard disk drive 

 

Open the casing (see "Opening the casing"). 

 

Take the new hard disk drive out of its packaging. 

 

Make the required settings (e.g. master/slave, cable select) on the drives. 

 

Connect the cables to the hard disk drive.

Slide the hard disk drive into the second 
bay in the direction of the arrow (1). 

 

Screw the new hard disk drive firmly onto 
the drive cage with the included four 
screws (2).  

 

 

Close the casing (see "Closing the casing").

It may be necessary to modify the entry for the drive in the 

BIOS Setup
