Turn off the computer and disconnect the AC adapter from it.

Connect the display cable to the external display connector on the rear panel of your
computer.
A display cable connector has a trapezoidal cross section.
Adjust the orientation of the connector, (1) insert the cable connector, and (2) secure the display
cable with the screws on both sides of the connector.

Connect the display cable to the CRT display.
For the way to connect the cable, refer to the manual for your CRT display.

Plug the power cable of the CRT display in a wall outlet and turn it on.

Connect the AC adapter to the computer, turn it on, and then switch displays.
