6-12 When there is a pipeline crossing
If another pipe intersects with the target pipe, the
Depth of the buried pipe becomes unknown.
When this occurs, the measurement of depth and
location becomes difficult. In particular, it cannot detect when
buried pipes are in contact with each other. If they are not in
contact, please move to the location where the receiver signal
becomes stable. In order to perform more accurate detections,
it is recommended to detect using Direct mode (with or without
an external magnetic coil).
6-13 When there are nearby railways
In the event the pipeline is next to a railway track, the tracks and
fences may cause signal interference
In such a case, please use a transmitter on the outside of the fence,
as shown in the diagram to the left.
Caution :
Never enter the railway track to probe. It is prohibited by law.
You also cannot place the transmitter on the track.
