INFLATING STEPS & DETAILS:
7. Get the Stand-Up Paddle board out of the bag.
8. Unfold the SUP and place it on the floor. Be sure to put it on a flat and non-
damaging area, so you don’t compromise the inflation.
9. The
inflation valve
is located on the board, under the pad. Be sure the valve
stem is placed upwards. If the stem is downwards, push it slightly until it pulls
itself up, ready to be inflated.
10. To connect and seal the nozzle of the pump
to the board’s valve, turn it of a
quarter.
11. Inflate the SUP by pumping up and down. Bend your knees to preserve your
back.
12. Take out the nozzle out of the valve and close it once the gauge
’s needle
indicates a pressure of 15 PSI.
WARNING
The use of a compressor can seriously damage your product and severely hurt you. This
case cancels any warranty.
Advice and inflating precautions:
•
The board has to be inflated with a manual or electrical pump for SUPs.
•
Do not use compressors to inflate your SUP.
•
Over time, the inner tube is going to lose air. Always check the pressure before any
use.
•
24h before using your SUP, inflate it to check if it is airtight. If you see an important
pressure drop, read the instructions « Leak detection
» in the ‘Repair your SUP’
section of this manual (pages 13-14).
•
Do not over inflate. The maximum pressure recommended is 15 PSI.
•
Do not let your SUP in direct sunlight for a long time when it is fully pressured. If the
SUP is used in a hot or sunny environment, release some air from the board. Inflate the
proper 15PSI before using. The water temperature can also lead to a small air loss in
the inner chamber.
•
The manometer is provided for the inflation only and cannot be taken as a precise
