Interrupting charging process
By pressing the Start-Stop button (10) the charging
process can be interrupted.
- The display indicates STOP and the charged
ampere-hours of the battery.
- By pressing the Start-Stop button (10) once
again the charging process will be restarted.
Displaying parameters during the charging
process
1. Press Info button (11)
2. Following parameters may be displayed:
current battery voltage current charge rate
ampere-hours charged
Disconnecting battery
1. Press Start-Stop button (10)
2. Remove charging clip (3) of battery charger
from the battery.
3. Remove charging clip (2) of battery charger
from the battery or from the motor unit.
Charging totally discharged batteries
Totally discharged batteries can not be automatically
identified by the battery charger.
At the operating mode „Charging totally discharged
batteries / Support mode“

The battery voltage can manually be selected,
- The welding process can manually be started.
1. Plug in the mains cable of the battery charger
2. Select operating mode
3. Select capacity of battery
Attention! The reverse polarity battery pro-
tection feature is deactivated in the operating
mode “Charging totally discharged batteries“/
“Support mode“.
Connect the charging clips to the correct
terminals of the battery!
4. Connecting battery
5. Totally discharged batteries can not be identi-
fied by the battery charger
6. Press Start-Stop button (10) for about 5 sec.
- the operating mode „Charging totally dischar-
ged batteries / Support mode“ is activated.

If you do not press another button within 5 sec.,
the battery charger switches back to the main
menu (select operating mode).
8. Confirm selected battery voltage by pressing
the Start-Stop button (10)
9. After the battery voltage has been confirmed,
an inquiry is displayed of whether the charging
clips are connected to the correct terminals:
Attention! Do not press the Start-Stop button
(10) if the charging clips are connected
incorrectly! Non-observance of this instruction
may damage the battery charger which would
then require to be serviced.
10. Make sure the charging clips are connected
correctly to the terminals and press the Start-
Stop button (10) again.
11. Battery charger starts charging the totally
discharged battery.
After the battery charging is completed, refer to
„Disconnecting battery“.
7. Select the corresponding battery voltage by press-
ing the adjusting button “Up“ (8) or “Down“ (9):
