ISARIA

®

2.4.1

Risk of crushing and swinging out by electrically driven components

Very high forces act on components moved by the linear actuators. There is the risk of injury and 

material damage. ISARIA

® 

may only be operated if the operator can see the entire hazardous area 

and no persons or objects are present.

2.4.2

Side arms/sensors coming into contact with obstacles

Uneven surfaces, driving over bumps at speed and careless manoeuvring may cause one or both 

side arms to come into contact with the driving surface or any obstacles. The forces developed as 

a result may deform and rip off components. This may result in personal injuries and material 

damage. After coming into contact with an obstacle, ISARIA

®

 must be checked by trained personnel 

before continuing to use it or transporting it on public roadways.

2.4.3

Risk of tilting due to high centre of gravity

If ISARIA

® 

is switched off while ready for operation (side arms retracted upwards), it may tilt easily 

due to its high centre of gravity. To ensure safe storage, we recommend taking appropriate 

measures, such as placing the device near a wall while simultaneously securing the device against 

tilting over.

2.4.4

Risks during driving and participating in traffic

For driving, in particular on public roadways, ISARIA

® 

is equipped with a transport position (side 

arms retracted upwards). ISARIA

® 

must be in the transport position to participate in traffic.

The overall vehicle height may increase due to the side arms having been retracted upwards!

2.4.5

Risks from obstructed vision

ISARIA

®

 obstructs the driver's vision when fitted to the front of the vehicle. Please choose the 

installation position so that the vision is obstructed as little as possible, as defined in Art. 35b StVZO 

(German Highway Code). 

2.5

Workplace

ISARIA

®

 workplace is located in front of the terminal. The operator must provide a suitable 

workplace with sufficient lighting in compliance with the relevant regulations.
