OPERATION
WARNING
POTENTIAL HAZARD
Operating vehicle without being familiar with all controls.
WHAT CAN HAPPEN
Loss of control, which could cause an accident or injury.
HOW TO AVOID THE HAZARD
Read the Owner's Manual carefully. If there is a control or
function you do not understand, ask a Frisian Motors dealer.
Starting
1.
With the parking brake applied, turn the drive select switch to“FWD” for forward, or “REV”
for reverse.
CAUTION:
Do not shift from “FWD” forward to “REV” reverse while the vehicle is moving.
2.
Turn the main switch to “ON.”
WARNING
Do not depress the accelerator pedal when turning on the main
switch or the vehicle may suddenly start moving.
3.
Check that your path is clear in the direction you intend to go, and slowly depress the accelerator
pedal. The vehicle will start to move.
NOTE:
The parking brake automatically releases when the accelerator pedal is depressed.
STOPPING
To stop the transporter gradually press down on the brake pedal.
When the car has come to a stop, apply the parking brake lever and turn the main switch to “OFF.”
CAUTION:
Do not hold the transporter on an incline with the accelerator – use the brakes
Parking
When parking, apply the parking brake to help prevent the vehicle from rolling.
Parking on a slope
WARNING
POTENTIAL HAZARD
Parking on a hill or other incline.
WHAT CAN HAPPEN
The vehicle could roll out of control, increasing the chance of an accident.
HOW TO AVOID THE HAZARD
Avoid parking on hills or other inclines. If you must park on an incline, apply the parking
brake, and block the front and rear wheels with rocks or other objects.
Do not park the vehicle at all on hills that are so steep you could not walk up them easily.
