Tire condition
WARNING
POTENTIAL HAZARD
Operating this vehicle with improper tires, or with improper
or uneven tire pressure.
WHAT CAN HAPPEN
Use of improper tires on this vehicle, or operation of this
vehicle with improper or uneven tire pressure, may cause
loss of control, increasing your risk of accident.
HOW TO AVOID THE HAZARD
1.
The tires models are listed below. Please confirm the
tires dimension when doing replacement.
Size
Type
Front 25 ×8-12NHS
Street Fighter
Rear
25 ×10-12NHS Street Fighter
2.
The tires should be set to the recommended
pressure:
-
Recommended tire pressure
Front 0.7Bar (0.70 kgf/cm2, 10psi)
Rear 0.98Bar (0.98 kgf/cm2, 14psi)
Check and adjust tire pressures when the tires are cold.
Tire pressures must be equal on both sides.
3.
Tire pressure below the minimum specified could
cause the tire to dislodge from the rim under severe
riding conditions. The following are minimums:
Front 0.63Bar (0.63 kgf/cm2, 9psi)
Rear 0.91Bar (0.91 kgf/cm2, 13psi)
4.
Use no more than the following pressures when
seating the tire beads.
Front 2.5Bar (2.5 kgf/cm2, 36psi)
Rear 2.5Bar (2.5 kgf/cm2, 36psi)
Higher pressures may cause the tire to burst. Inflate the tires
very slowly and carefully. Fast inflation could cause the tire
to burst.
How to measure tire pressure
Use the tire pressure gauge.
NOTE:
The tire pressure gauge is included as standard equipment. Make two measurements of the tire pressure
and use the second reading. Dust or dirt in the gauge could cause the first reading to be incorrect.
