Cool down period
• For safe food storage, allow 2-3 hours for the freezer to cool down completely.
The freezer will run continuously during the first hours. Foods that are already
frozen may be placed in the freezer after the first hours of operation. Unfrozen
foods should NOT be loaded into the freezer until the freezer has operated for 2
hours.
• When loading freezer, freeze only 3 pounds of fresh food per cubic foot of
freezer space at one time. Distribute packages to be frozen evenly throughout
the freezer.
The internal temperature of your freezer may be affected by the location, room
temperature, amount of food loaded, and the number of times that the lid is
opened.
Setting the temperature control
The temperature control is located on
the front lower right part of the freezer.
The temperature switch ranges from
position "1" to position "7", i.e. from
the warmest adjustment to the coldest.
Adjust the temperature control as
required. The position "5" is
appropriate for use at home or in an
office.
If the freezer is unplugged, without
power or turned off, you must wait 3 to
5 minutes before turning it on. If you
attempt to turn it on before this delay,
the appliance will not start.
Large amounts of food decrease the
freezer cooling efficiency.
To change the thermostat setting,
adjust the thermostat by one
numerical increment at a time. Allow
the temperature to stabilize between
adjustments.
If fast freezing is needed for articles,
the knob of the thermostat should be
set to the position "7" after the articles
are put into the freezer. Or turn on fast
freezing switch in the panel.
Turn it to its original position when
articles are frozen.
Turning the knob switch back to its
starting position designated with the
symbol "."- will not interrupt the flow of
electricity into the machine. To stop
the electric power you must
disconnect the power plug from the
power supply.
Do not fast-freezer for more than 4~5
hours or it is not good for the
refrigerating system.
