Filling the Water Reservoir

  always ensure that the iron is unplugged from the wall outlet 

prior to filling the water reservoir.

  if filling a hot iron, exercise extreme caution.

  set the steam selector to the off position, open the cover of 

the Water fill hole and place the iron in a vertical position.

  pour water into the Water fill hole, making sure that the 

water level does not exceed the Maximum fill line.

Ironing

  for both dry and steam ironing, set the steam selector to 

the off position. if you will be steam ironing, follow the 

“filling the Water Reservoir” steps.

  insert the power cord plug into a 120-Volt ac outlet. the 

power indicator will illuminate to indicate that the iron is 

receiving power.

  press the fabric selector buttons to illuminate the type of 

fabric that will be ironed and then place the iron on the heel 

rest to allow it to heat up.

  once the iron is heated for the selected fabric, the Ready 

indicator will illuminate with a green light.  the iron is now 

ready for use.

  if steam ironing, set the steam selector to the desired level 

of steam output.

Turning Off and Storing the Iron

  press the (-) fabric selector button to select the off position.

  set the steam selector to the off position.

  unplug from the outlet by grasping the plug and pulling.  

never yank the power cord to unplug the iron as this may 

damage the plug and cable.

  if the iron will not be used the following day, empty the 

water reservoir.  ensure the iron is unplugged and turn 

upside down over a sink.  open the cover of the Water fill 

hole and empty the water into the sink, gently shaking out 

any water drops.

  allow the iron to cool completely. loosely circle the cord 

around the heel rest and store the iron resting on the heel
