2. It is recommended to wipe the outer surfaces of the removable cooking pots with a soft, dry
cloth before each use to make sure that they are fully dry. This will reduce the possibility of liquid
coming into contact with the Triple Slow Cooker main unit and causing damage.
3. Position the removable cooking pots into the relevant recesses in the Triple Slow Cooker main
unit.
4. Place the prepared ingredients directly into the removable cooking pots and then fit the
tempered glass lids.
5. Plug in and switch on the Triple Slow Cooker at the mains power supply.
6. To turn on the Triple Slow Cooker, set the heat control dial for the removable cooking pots
required for use to the desired heat setting ('HIGH', 'LOW’ or 'WARM').
7. Once cooking is complete, turn the relevant heat control dial to the 'OFF' position and unplug
the Triple Slow Cooker from the mains power supply.
8. The cooked food can be served directly from the removable cooking pots. Always use
heat-resistant silicone or plastic cooking utensils to serve food, to avoid damaging the surfaces.
Note:
The tempered glass lids of the Triple Slow Cooker should not form a tight fit on the
removable cooking pots but should be placed centrally for the best results.
Note:
It is not necessary to stir the ingredients during cooking. Do not repeatedly remove the
tempered glass lids, as this will affect the cooking temperature within the removable cooking pots
and cooking times.
Warning:
Do not place the removable cooking pots onto any surfaces that may be affected by
heat.
Warning:
Do not place food directly into the Triple Slow Cooker main unit without first fitting
the removable cooking pots into the relevant recesses.
Warning:
The removable cooking pots and tempered glass lids will get very hot during operation.
Always wear heat-resistant oven gloves when removing the removable cooking pots from the
Triple Slow Cooker main unit.
Warning:
Nominal voltage is still present even when the thermostat is turned to the off position,
to permanently switch off the Triple Slow Cooker, ensure that it is turned off at the mains power
supply.
Using the Heat Control Dials
The Triple Slow Cooker has been developed with a concealed, wrap-around element, which
provides a low, even temperature that allows for longer cooking times where possible. This
method of cooking means that food will not stick to the base of the removable cooking pots and
eliminates the need to stir the ingredients during cooking.
Low Heat Setting
The 'LOW' heat setting gently simmers food for an extended period of time without overcooking
or burning the ingredients. This setting is ideal for vegetable-based dishes.
High Heat Setting
The 'HIGH' heat setting is ideal for cooking dried beans or pulses and for baking. It will cook food
in half of the time required to cook food on the 'low' heat setting. As ingredients may reach boiling
point when being cooked on the 'high' heat setting, it may be necessary to add extra liquid during
the cooking process to prevent the removable cooking pots from 'drying out' during the cooking
process. This will depend upon the recipe and the amount of time it needs to be cooked for.
