Upper Sections Assembly
1) Assemble a work platform, where you can stay to comfortably start assembling the next section,
2)
Connect two POK SPALLA intermediate vertical uprights on the sills of the current section
[See S.H.P. page 9]
3) Join the two upper, vertical uprights together with another two POK DAVANZ horizontal sills,
4) Strengthen the bay by installing no. 2 PTIR L diagonal tie rods positioned in an «X» for each side,
5)
Install a new work platform where you can stay to comfortably start assembling the next section (if not
available, recover the work platform beneath)
6) Repeat the operation from point no. 2 to point no. 5 until the last section is installed.
Recommendations for safe assembly
at heights over 2 metres:
Anchoring the mobile scaffold.
The POKER is subject by
law to compulsory
anchorage. Anchorage
should be carried out near
the sills (red arrows).
Use one of the anchorage
systems indicated.
Always remain inside the
tower.
Operator ascent and descent
is compulsory inside the
mobile scaffold, using the
non-slip rungs on the vertical
uprights or, if necessary, the climbing ladders,
available on request.
Having passed through the work platform, always
ensure the trapdoor is closed.
Always work on a work platform, protected by the
complete guardrail, including during the assembly
and dismantling phases.
In the absence of a service platform with guardrail,
ensure you are safe using a certified fall protection
system, as learned in the specific training courses
planned.
To lift loads, you are advised to lift them with a
securely tied rope; this operation should only be
carried out inside the mobile scaffold or the
extended base (area including the stabilising
brackets).
Nobody should stand under suspended loads.
Compulsory use of fall protection system, according to law.

The POKER work platform is composed of a platform
with a trapdoor for passage.
The work platform must be equipped with toe boards. These must be
assembled by clicking into place; pay attention they cannot fall from above,
when handling them or though improper assembly.
