2.7. Chipset
The P8F154 supports the 845GV chipset is designed for us e in a
desktop system based on an Intel® Pentium® 4 processor in a
478-pin package. The 845GV chipset supports the Pentium 4
processor with 256-KB L2 cache and the Pentium 4 processor with
512-KB L2 cache on 0.13 micron process. The processor interface
supports the Pentium 4 processor subset of the Extended Mode of
the Scalable Bus Protocol. In an 845GV chipset-based platform, I/O
functions are integrated onto the ICH4.
The GMCH provides the processor interface, system memory
interface, hub interface, and additional interface in an 845GV
chipset desktop platform. Each GMCH contains an integrated
graphics controller (IGD). The 845GV chipset uses the 82801DB
ICH4 for the I/O Controller Hub.
Processor Side Bus (PSB) frequency
-- 82845GV GMCH supports 533 MHz and 400 MHz.
AGP Interface
-- 82845GV GMCH supports AGP. The AGP interface signals
are multiplexed with the Intel® DVO interface signals.

reliability over wide operating conditions.
Two USB2.0 controllers provide high-performance peripherals
with 480 Mbps of bandwidth, while enabling support for up to
six USB 2.0 ports.
