Attaching Connectors

21

Audio Port Connectors (AC97)

You can connect various audio devices to these audio jacks. Connect
headphones or powered speakers to the lime -colored lineout connec-
tor. Connect a tape player or another audio source to the light blue
Line-in connector to record audio on your computer or to play audio
through your computer’s sound chip and speakers. Connect a micro-
phone to the pink microphone connector to record audio to your
computer.

Audio Port Connectors (Ensoniq CT5880)

If your mainboard comes with the Ensoniq CT5880, you are provided
with two lime-colored Line-out connectors for connecting additional
headphones or powered speakers. Connect a microphone to the pink
microphone connector to record audio to your computer. To play or
edit audio on your computer or to play audio through your com-
puter’s sound chip and speakers use the

Game port

to connect a

MIDI device.
