Settings:
Add
Contact
– Click here to add the contacts that will receive your Alert
message and your location when you press the alert button.
Removing
a
contact
– To remove a contact from the list highlight the contact,
press the Left softkey to bring up the menu and select remove.
Changing
the
telephone
number
used
for
a
contact
–
If a contact has
multiple phone numbers you can select which number the message is sent to.
To do this after adding the contact, highlight them in the list, press the left soft
key to bring up the menu and click on select number.

Here you can change the default message that gets sent when you
press the Alert button.

same way as you do in the SOS settings. The contacts you add to this list will be
able to automatically get a map of your current location by sending you the
correct “look up phrase” by text.
Important
note

Please
ensure
that
the
phone
number
in
the
address
book
for
the
people
you
select
is
entered
exactly
as
displayed
if
they
were
to
call
you.
For
most
carriers
you
will
need
to
include
the
country
code
in
their
phone
number.
For
example
if
your
contacts
phone
number
is
in
the
UK
and
begins
with
08707
you
will
need
to
make
sure
that
the
number
you
have
for
them
in
your
address
book
begins
with
+448707
SMS
Text
–
Here you can change the default text sent with your location when
somebody requests your position.
Security
Phrase
–
Here you can define the word or phrase which your contacts
need to send in order to get your location.
