3) Click on the download link, ensure the “Run after download” box is ticked
and click save.
4) After the download has finished the install program will run. During the
installation process follow the onscreen instructions to complete the
installation.
Alternatively you can also install the Freedom Personal Safety application via
your PC. You can download the PC installation package from
www.freedominput.com
Using the Freedom Personal Safety on your
Windows Mobile Smartphone.
1) The Freedom Personal Safety application will be located in your main
programs folder.
2) Run the Freedom Personal Safety Application.
3) The application has two sections, Personal Safety and GPS Signal Strength.
When you run the application you will be shown the GPS connecting screen.
Select the “Freedom Personal Safety GPS” or the outgoing COM port you created
earlier from the drop down list and click on connect. If for any reason you need
to reconnect the GPS unit at any time you can bring up the GPS connecting
screen by pressing the menu button on the home screen of the Personal Safety
application and selecting “Reconnect GPS”.
GPS Signal Strength
This shows detailed information about your GPS signal such as how many
satellites are in view, what your co‐ordinates are and the signal strength of each
connected satellite.
Personal Safety
This is split into two tabs, SOS settings where you can changes the settings for
the Alert button and Find Me settings where you can change the settings for the
“Find Me” part of the application.
