2.1 Traveller II Premium Power supply via Power Module
WARNING! Before inserting the battery, make sure that the device is
disconnected from the external power supply. Otherwise, the drive
may be damaged.
The external power supply may be any of the following:
Power pack and/or
Notebook/PC voltage (only with cable II PCMCIA or CardBus)
Only Cable II PCMCIA/CardBus: If the device is operated with a battery and
the power supply switch is set to "Ext. Power", the device receives power
from both the battery and the external power supply (PC/Notebook). The
battery serves as a power buffer in case the drive requires more power than
the external source can supply.
Note: If the switch is set to "Batt. only", the device is only receives
power from the rechargeable battery and no power is drawn from the
notebook/PC.
