Understanding the Keys
This User’s Guide describes the
function of keys using this book card in
the Medical Book System
™
. When this
book card is used in the 1450 and 1870
BOOKMAN
®
platforms, some functions
are perfomed using keys different from
those indicated in this User’s Guide. For
example, use FN in places where you
are instructed to use
. Read the
User’s Guide and Tutorial for your
platform to see the proper keys required
to perform a NEXT or PREV or other
direction key combinations.
In addition, the functions of the keys
may vary according to which book card
is installed and selected in the platform.
To learn how to use a particular book
card, read its User’s Guide.
Note: Keys referred to as “color” keys
in this User’s Guide are referred to as
“touch” keys in the 1450 BOOKMAN
platforms and “function” keys in the
1870 BOOKMAN platforms.

you can use the quick keys to quickly view
its different parts, its equivalents, or the
Therapeutics Class index.
