Replace the drip tray and waste coffee container
(A4).

Close the service door.
Cleaning the water tank
X
Clean the water tank (A12) regularly (about once a
month) with a damp cloth and a little mild washing
up liquid.
X
Remove all traces of washing up liquid.
X
Fill with fresh drinking water.
X
Empty the water tank if the appliance is not used
for extended periods (holidays etc.).
X
Replace the water if the appliance is not used for
more than two days.
Cleaning the spouts
X
Clean the spouts periodically using a sponge
(Fig. 36).
X
Check regularly that the holes in the coffee spout
are not blocked. If necessary, remove coffee
deposits with a toothpick (Fig. 34).

DANGER!
Before performing any cleaning
operations, the machine must be turned off by
pressing the main switch (A23) and unplugged
from the mains power supply. Never immerse the
coffee maker in water.
Cleaning the inside of the coffee maker

Check regularly (about once a week) that the
inside of the appliance is not dirty. If necessary,
remove coffee deposits with a sponge.
X
Remove the residues with a vacuum cleaner
(Fig. 38).

Cleaning the brewing unit
The brewing unit must be cleaned at least once a
month.
IMPORTANT:
The brewing unit (A5) must
not be removed when the appliance is on. Do not
use force to remove the brewing unit.
Proceed as follows:

Make sure the machine is correctly turned off
(see "Turning the appliance off").
X
Open the service door (Fig. 23).
X
Remove the drip tray and waste coffee container
(Fig. 24).
