Incorrect supply pressure or burner
pressure Check settings and adjust them if necessary
Incorrect gas type Check that the type of gas used is one of those
indicated on the plate
No ignition spark Check and clean the ignition electrode, check
the electrical connections and the flame control
board
No or weak flame signal (even is
flame is alight) Check and clean the flame sensor, check the
electrical connections and the flame control
equipment.
Faulty flame control equipment Check and replace the equipment
The heating
power is too
low or too high Incorrect supply pressure or burner
pressure Check settings, correct if necessary
Incorrect gas type Check the type of gas used, replace if
necessary
Partial obstruction of air inlet/outlet Check and keep clean and free the air inlet and
outlet
Insufficient or excessive installed
heating power for the room to be
heated Review plant dimensioning
The heater
locks out (or
stops) during
operation Power failure Check the electrical system (cables, distribution
board, circuit breaker, fuses, etc.) and restore
power
Gas supply failure Check the gas supply line
Flame failure and/or combustion
anomalies
(no or weak flame signal)
Check that the operating pressures and gas
used are correct, check the nozzle and clean it
if necessary
Check flame sensor, connection cable and
flame monitoring device, replace if necessary.
Airflow rate reduction (flow switch
tripped) Check that the air intake and outlet ducts are
completely clear, remove any obstructions.
Check that motor and fan rotate freely (at the
correct speed). Replace defective parts if
necessary
Appliance overheating (safety
thermostat tripped) Check that the operating pressures and the
type of gas used are correct
Check that the air inlet and outlet ducts are free
of obstructions
Check that the motor/fan rotates freely
