- Do not use the appliance without the plate (g) DANGER!!!!
- If during use there is a power outage, put the power switch (h) in the "0" position (off) and remove
the plug from the electrical outlet.
- Do not insert objects into the rear grill of the motor unit (a)
- Do not remove the rear grill of the motor unit (a)
- Do not remove the protective cover of the power switch (h)
- Do not place hands, body parts, or objects into the front part of the plate (g) during operation.
- ATTENTION this appliance is only compatible with the Gruppo Palumbo tomato strainer for
(optional and sold separately) Any other accessory may cause serious problems and
damage both to the appliance and the user.
ATTENTION: All assembly/removal operations of appliance, its accessories or the tomato
strainer kit (not supplied, available for purchase separately)
should be carried out with the machine switched off and with the plug disconnected from the
outlet.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Clean the appliance before storing it in a dry, clean place.
IMPORTANT: Always operate when the appliance is unplugged from the wall outlet and never
immerse it in water or other liquids. Never use liquids, detergents or abrasive substances which can
damage surfaces, the appliance or injure people.
Do not wash the appliance or its parts in the dishwasher.
Do not wash single parts of the appliance in the dishwasher.
Do not wash the motor unit (a) with water
Wash all the components with the exception of the motor unit (a) in warm water with dish detergent.
Thoroughly rinse the components to remove all detergent residue and then carefully dry all the
components.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Make sure that the mincer and all its parts are perfectly clean.
Wash and wipe up the screw (e), the knife (f) and the plate (g).
Fix the conveyor (d) vertically onto the engine (a) by means of clamping nuts (n) and a torque wrench (m).
Insert the helical screw (e) into the conveyor (d) making sure that the square part of the screw (e) is
perfectly fitted into its housing at the bottom of the conveyor (d).
Set the knife (f) and the plate (g) on the helical screw square (o).
After positioning the plate (g) clamp all the parts with a ring nut (l).
Position the tray ( c) onto the upper opening of the conveyor (d).
Make sure that the power button (p) is set to position 1.
Put the chopped meat into the tray ( c) pushing it by help of a tamper (b) into the upper channel of the
conveyor (d).
Caution! Do not use your hands to push the meat inside the conveyor. When used for the first time or after
a long period of idleness, mince a kilo of meat and then throw it away. In case your appliance is fitted with
the reverse function, use this function only if the appliance gets stalled.
In case your mincer is fitted with the single-phase function and the engine gets stalled, disassemble the
appliance, clean it and assemble it again according to the instructions above.
If the appliance does not restart after trying for two or three times, do not insist further, remove the plug
from the socket, disassemble the appliance and remove the cause of the stall manually.
Please note: the breaker must be pressed as a button during the reverse function in intermittent mode.
