PC Software

 to obtain a link to download the software and driver. 

11.1.

 

 Driver installation 

You need to install a USB driver to be able to establish a connection to a PPA. This needs to be done only once 
and not for every PPA module. 

1.

 

Download the drivers and unzip the package. 

2.

 

Open  the 

Windows  Device  Manager

  and  navigate  to  a  device 

named VCOM, located in 

Other Devices

 (Fig. 1). 

3.

 

Right-click the VCOM device  and choose 

Update  Driver Software 

(Fig. 2)

. 

4.

 

Click 

Browse my computer for driver software 

5.

 

Navigate to the directory with the unzipped driver files and click 

OK

. 

6.

 

A warning will appear (Fig. 3) stating that the driver is not signed 
by Microsoft. The driver will be signed soon. In the meantime, you can safely choose the second option 
and 

install the software anyway

.  

7.

 

After installation you’ll see a new device named PPA USB VCom Port.
