3.3.2 « Tilt-in-space » function.
Caution:
The use of the seated sitting function modifies the balance (especially when moving on a slope in
reverse) and the size of the chair.
A learning phase is therefore necessary to become aware of the possibilities of the chair in this position:
- Downhill the risk of sliding forward is high especially when braking.
By allowing you to maintain a flat seat in the downhill, the rocker sits effectively remedies. However, an
adequate speed must be adapted.
- Ascent, this position is to be avoided because it creates a risk of tipping backwards.
- To raise the seat, press the button without releasing it until you reach the desired position. Release the
button to stop the movement.
- To lower the seat, press the button again without releasing it until you reach the desired position and then
release the button.
Note:
When rocking the seat, a SPEED / LIMIT safety device regulates and automatically limits the speed.
If your wheelchair seems slow and does not perform as usual, make sure the seat is in the down position
so that the speed limiter is completely off.
