9 PROGRAMMING CUP FILLING VOLUMES

The volume of coffee dispensed for a long or short coffee can be programmed to suit
the preferences of the users, or depending on the cup sizes used.
Caution:
before starting the programming sequence, check that the machine has reached its
operating temperature with the indicator light showing steady green.
Programming the quantities of water
1. Switch off the machine and wait for 10 seconds.
2. Press and hold down the long and short coffee buttons simultaneously. Switch on
the machine to start programming mode.
3. Release the two buttons; the indicator light changes to steady red.
4. Place the container (mug, disposable cup, etc.) which will be used under the coffee
dispenser.
5. Press and hold down the long coffee button until the right amount of coffee has been
dispensed for a long coffee.
6. Repeat procedure 5 for a short coffee.
7. Switch off the machine and wait 10 seconds for the quantities to be saved and to close
programming mode.
8. Switch on the machine; the quantities of water for the two coffee options have been
programmed.
Comment : The hot water button cannot be programmed in this way. The machine will dispense
water for as long as the hot water button is pressed.
10 SAFETY

The temperature of the water in the machine is controlled by an electronic thermostat. If a
malfunction occurs, the machine is protected by an overheat sensor and a resettable thermostat.
This thermostat automatically disconnects the power supply to the heating system and stops
the machine overheating. If the machine stops heating, it is likely that this device has been
triggered. To restart the machine, contact your FOUNTAIN dealer.
CAUTION
Do not open the cover on the rear of the machine due to the risk of electric shock.
The machine does not contain any components which can be repaired by the user.
All repair work should be carried out by FOUNTAIN qualified personnel.
