6. Disconnect the battery wires from the terminals. Be sure to replace the same type of
batteries and dispose of old batteries properly at an appropriate recycling facility.
7. Install the replacement battery by connecting the red wire and black wire to the positive
(+) and negative (-) terminals of the battery. It is normal to see small sparks upon
connecting the red/black wires on the positive (+)/ negative (-) terminals of the battery
when replacing it.
8. Put the battery back into the compartment.
9. Slide the cover of the battery compartment until it locks in place and replace the screw.
10. The new battery must be charged for at least 6 hours to its full capacity.

6. Desconecte los cables de la batería de los terminales. Al momento de reemplazarla,
verifique que la batería nueva sea del mismo tipo y deseche la unidad usada conforme
lo requieran los centros de reciclaje respectivos.
7. Instale la batería de repuesto conectando el cable rojo y el cable negro en los terminales
positivo (+) y negativo (-) del acumulador. Es normal que se produzcan unas chispitas al
momento de conectar los terminales positivo (+) y negativo (-) de la batería nueva.
8. Vuelva a colocar la batería dentro el compartimiento.
9. Deslice la tapa del compartimiento de la batería hasta que quede asegurada en su
lugar y vuelva a colocar el tornillo.
10. La batería nueva se debe cargar por un mínimo de 6 horas para que alcance el
máximo de su capacidad.
