5. Replacing the piezo ignition battery
The built-in burner features a piezo ignition that runs on a single AA battery. After repeated use, the battery will run
out. The battery can be replaced as following:
- Make sure the model, ceramic logs and lava rocks are completely cooled down.
- Make sure the device is no longer connected to the gas bottle.
- The battery can be found in the black ingnition button.
- The black ignition button can be twisted off in order to acces the battery.
- The old battery should be recycled.
6. Moving the unit
We advise to reduce the relocating of the built-in burner to a minimum. With every move you risk to damage the
built-in burner. When relocating the device is necessary, make sure it’s disconnected from the gas bottle.
Make sure the new location meets all the previously mentioned specifications.
7. Placing the cover plate
A stainless steel cover plate is included with every built-in burner. It’s the ideal protector for your burner against
weather influences. We therefor advise you to always use this cover plate when the burner is not in use. Before
placing the cover plate, make sure all components are cooled down after use. All ceramic logs need to be
removed before placing the cover plate, make sure they are cooled down so you do not burn yourself!
