Diagnostic stages

High gearmotor amps – Stage 1

The 

HI AMPS error and TIME DELAY LEDs are on indicating that the control board has sensed an over-torque 

condition at the P4 terminal (more than 3 amps from the gearmotor) and shut the ice machine down (strike 

one). The 

HI AMPS and TIME DELAY LEDs will remain on for 60 minutes after an over-torque condition has 

occurred. The ice machine will remain off as long as these two LEDs are on. After the 60 minute time delay, 

these LED lights turn off, and the control board will try to go through a normal start-up sequence.
